MAIMAIMAIMAI

Major in shipping.

mai College is a four-year degree in mai, the AI-native terminal that runs a whole fleet of coding agents. You graduate in two weeks. Tuition starts at €5 a month. Nobody drops out; they just reboot.

Welcome, freshmen!

Campus tour

The campus tour · by drone

Six buildings. Six things mai does.

Scroll and the drone sweeps the quad, or tap a pin. Our guide walks backwards the whole way; it is a tradition.

Aerial panorama of mai College at golden hour: a domed library, an observatory, a colonnaded hall, a dormitory, a bell tower and the playing fields.

The Persistent Sessions Library

Open 24/7, and nothing is ever returned late. Close the app or crash it and the session never notices; reboot, and mai brings it back on the same conversation.

Undergraduate catalogue · 2026–27

Every course is a feature. Every feature is real.

The B.Sc. in Shipping takes twelve courses. Add them to your schedule; the registrar is watching. Nothing here is invented — it is all in mai today.

  • CS 1014 credits

    Persistent Sessions

Close the app, close the browser, reboot the machine. Your sessions come back on the same conversation. Final exam: pull the plug.

Prereq: a laptop you are willing to reboot.

  • HIVE 2404 credits

    Parallel Worktrees

The Hive builds, reviews and ships in parallel git worktrees, one bee per worktree. Group projects where nobody touches your half.

Prereq: CS 101. Lab fee: none.

  • ECON 2103 credits

    Token Accounting

A local proxy measures every token at the wire and shows it per session, per account and per window. No more surprise invoices.

Required for anyone who has ever said “it was only one prompt.”

  • LING 1503 credits

    Speaking in Three Tongues

Every action is a CLI verb, an MCP tool and an API call. Conjugate “ship” in all three by midterm.

Taught in Bash, JSON-RPC and HTTP.

  • PHIL 3303 credits

    Model Agnosticism

Claude, Codex, Pi and more, picked on one Models page. Seminar question: is a model you can swap still your model?

No model may audit this course alone.

  • GEO 1202 credits

Study Abroad: Desktop, Web & Phone

Start at your desk, finish on your phone, same conversation. A web UI, a desktop window, and an Android app.

Passport not required. A browser is.

  • SEC 2603 credits

    Keeping Secrets

A session never asks for an API key in the chat. Keys live in a keyring your sessions can use but never read.

Do not write your password on the whiteboard.

  • PSYC 3053 credits

    Institutional Memory

What you teach one session, every session knows: corrections, conventions and gotchas outlive the conversation that produced them.

Attendance optional; the notes take themselves.

  • ENG 2013 credits

    Peer Review

mai review routes a change through a panel of AI reviewers and returns a pass/fail verdict that can hold back a deploy.

Grading is harsh. That is the point.

  • CS 1102 credits

    Git Without Leaving the Building

Git, without leaving mai: see the change, stage it and commit it from a pane beside your sessions.

Commit messages graded on length (≤ 72).

  • COMM 1402 credits

    Public Speaking (Voice)

Talk to your sessions and hear them answer. The setup tells you exactly which piece is missing.

Stage fright is fine; the agent has none.

  • STAT 1011 credit

    Reading the Traffic Lights

Every session wears a colour: red is waiting for you, amber is working, green is idle. Read the room in one glance.

    The easiest A on campus.

Your schedule0/33 crNot enrolled. Pick a course; any course.

Greek life · rush week never ends

Rush the Hive.

Three houses, and you can join all of them: everything in mai is a CLI verb, an MCP tool and an API call, so no house is the wrong house. Tap a crest to accept its bid.

ΒΕΕΒΕΕΒΕΕΒΕΕ

Beta Epsilon Epsilon. Say it out loud.

The biggest house on campus is the Hive. Pledges are AI agents; each one moves into its own git worktree, builds, gets reviewed, and ships — all in parallel, while you sleep.

Zero-hazing policy. A bee is confined to its own worktree. It cannot touch your room, your files or anyone else's branch.

  • Seven branches, zero conflicts.

    bee-12Voted Most parallel
  • Nice diff. Rejected.

reviewer-9Voted Most likely to request changes

Yearbook quotes are obviously made up by the yearbook committee, which is also a robot. Your agents are real, though: run as many as you like, side by side, and they keep their sessions across reboots.
